Weather

Pleasant Sense Farm reserves the right to cancel or change the duration of the tour in response to weather or environmental conditions.

We don’t cancel in wet weather unless there is a dangerous storm. Rain (and mud!) is all part of the fun.

Please bring a hat and sunscreen in warmer months and a raincoat/jacket in cooler months. Check the weather forecast before departing home and dress/pack according to the weather.

Safety

Visitors must listen to the short safety briefing at the start of the tour and children must be actively supervised by caregivers whilst on the farm.

The terrain at the farm can be uneven and slippery in parts. Although we do take our time, the walk navigates around rocks of all sizes. Therefore the walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or people with moderate mobility restrictions.

All participants must wear enclosed shoes or boots (no thongs or sandals allowed). Long pants are recommended.

Our farm is home to livestock, domestic animals as well as bees, wasps and ants. Please pack an Epipen if you are allergic, and keep it with you at all times.

We exercise a no alcohol or smoking policy on all parts of the property and we reserve the right to refuse those who do not abide by this condition.

Photography

Any photography taken during your tour is for personal use only. Visitors are informed that participation in group photos is purely voluntary, as these images are made publicly available through Pleasant Sense Farm social media and website.

Animals

Animals are the main part of this walk and all responsibility is taken by the participant in the interactions with these animals.

Children must be supervised by their caregiver at all times around the farm animals.

We cannot guarantee all animals will be available, especially seasonal lambs, calves and chickens.

Services/Amenities

Pleasant Sense Farm offers warm drinks and light refreshments as a complimentary part of the tour.

Please indicate any dietary requirements for all ticket holders during the online booking process. For those with special dietary requirements, we recommend you bring your own snacks along.

You are advised to use the toilet before departing for your guided tour. No toilet or hand washing facilities are available whilst on the walk.
