About Us

“The positive energy can be felt the moment you step foot on the farm”.

Pleasant Sense Farm is a private farm set on 30 acres overlooking the Murraylands. Adrian and Tanya’s family farm journey began in late 2020 after purchasing the property and immediately fell in love with its views, serenity and landscape.

The property has made such an impact on their family’s well being, happiness and personal growth, that they can’t help but invite others to experience its therapeutic benefits as well. So they named the property ‘Pleasant Sense Farm’.

Between them they offer a range of activities and therapies for children, people with additional needs or mental health challenges and adults of all ages. People can come and experience life in a serene and peaceful setting where they undertake nature based activities or therapy, animal assisted learning and animal assisted therapy.

The name just made perfect sense!

There’s always a story behind a name and this one’s no different. This name literally just popped in Tanya’s head while driving to school pick-up! It was a no-brainer and just made perfect sense - here’s why…

About Adrian

Occupational Therapist – Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

With Adrian’s 20 years plus of Occupational Therapy experience, it made perfect sense to combine his professional career with his love for farm life, freedom and the outdoors. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in 1999, Adrian worked in rural hospitals including a six year stint working as an OT in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Since returning back to Australia in 2007, he’s worked in both hospital and community settings, until starting his own private practice amidst covid in 2021.

His passion for the great outdoors has given him many opportunities to work closely with the land and its people, particularly with the Aboriginal community in the APY lands.

Adrian is registered with AHPRA, abides by industry Codes of Conduct and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

When he’s not working, Adrian enjoys riding his motorbikes and coaching others (that’s another story!), spending time with their three kids and maintaining the farm.
