Frequently Asked Questions

Are Pleasant Sense Farm activities suitable for any age?

We welcome all ages to visit our farm, from young children right through to the elderly. The activities will vary depending on the person’s age and ability.

What types of animals do you have?

Currently we have 7 different types of farm animals at Pleasant Sense Farm. These include donkey, alpacas, cows, goat, sheep, chickens and dog. We also have lots of wildlife to spot, including koalas, kangaroos, lizards, ducks, echidnas and birds.

Can I drop in anytime to visit the farm?

No. We are a private farm and are not open to the public for drop-in visits. Bookings are essential, here’s why. Our animals are roaming the farm throughout the day and therefore not always accessible. We need to be with visitors to the farm at all times and are not always available.

How do I make a booking for a mentoring session?

Please visit either the ‘Mentoring & Support’ page or the ‘Therapy’ page for information on how to start the booking process.

What do I need to bring?

We are an outdoor farm so dressing for the weather is advised. Warm clothes/jacket in the cooler months and hat/sunscreen in the hotter months. Enclosed shoes or boots are also recommended, especially for animal or physical farm activities.

How much do mentoring or therapy sessions cost?

For information on pricing, please download our full Schedule of Rates for Therapy, Mentoring and Support here.

Alternatively, you can contact us for further information.

Do you provide Animal Assisted Therapy with a qualified Therapist?
